This pattern is great for the adventurous beginner to intermediate quilter! It’s a fun, modern, quick quilt to make. It looks wonderful in a variety of types of fabrics. The pattern includes instructions for a baby size, throw size and queen size quilt. And is a great way to use your scraps!

The pattern includes labeled diagrams for each step. It also includes blank coloring sheets for each size, so you can draw out your own fabric colors.

This listing is for a digital PDF copy of the pattern. You will receive a 14 page PDF file to download to your device. It can be printed on 8.5 x 11 inch paper or viewed on your device.

~Basic sewing and quilting knowledge needed

Fabric needed:
Baby Size (43 X 43 inches)
Color A: 2 Fat Quarters or 1/3 yd
Color B: 1 Fat Quarter or 1/4 yd
Color C: 1 Fat Quarter or 1/4 yd
Color D:
Background: 1/3 yd
Sashing: 1 1/4 yard
Binding: 1/2 yd
Backing: 2 3/4 yards

Throw size (62 x 82 inches)
Color A: 5 fat quarters  or 1 1/4 yards
Color B: 2 fat quarters or 1/2 yard
Color C: 3 fat quarters or 2/3 yard
Color D:
Background – 1 1/4 yards
Sashing – 2 3/4 yards
Binding: 2/3 yard
Backing: 5 yards

Queen Size (82 x 102 inches)
Color A: 8 Fat Quarters or 2 yards
Color B: 3 Fat Quarter or 3/4 yard
Color C: 4 Fat Quarter or 1 yard
Color D (Aqua):
Background: 2 yards
Sashing: 3 2/3 yards
Binding: 3/4 yard
Backing: 7 1/2 yards

 

*If you pre-wash your fabric, you will want to have 1/4 yard more to account for fabric shrinkage.
**Pattern assumes all fabrics are 42 inches wide and seam allowances to be a scant 1/4 inch.
